Royal Ascot is the 'must do' event of the summer social calendar. Steeped in tradition, the Royal Meeting attracts over 300,000 racegoers each year to view the splendor of five days of the finest horseracing, pageantry and fashion. With a less formal atmosphere the Silver Ring still provides an excellent position to watch the racing and the Royal Procession. There are over 2,000 free seats available to view the racing, big screen TV's, live music entertainment, lawned area with many bars and food outlets, picnic area. Racecourse opens at 10.30 Royal Procession takes place at 14.00 Racing begins at approx 14.30 Racing ends at approx 17.30 We are arranging a three course picnic to be supplied by a local company for about £15.00 pp, more details to follow |
