Monday 13 September Travel to Yorkshire with plenty of refreshmant stops Tuesday 14 September Visit the pretty village of Holfirth, setting for Last of the Summer Wine, then on to Haworth home of the Bronte Sisters. Visit the Bronte Parsonage Museum. The Railway Children was also filmed in this area.
Enjoy a journey on the, North Yorkshire Moors railway,disembark at Goathland, better known as Aidensfield in Heartbeat and Hogsmeade in Harry Potter. North Yorkshire was home to Alf Wright better known as James Herriott.
